I am sending this e-mail from Colombia.  My grandfather's name was Isaac Stein, brother of Anna Stein Prinzmetal, who lived in California. Both Isaac and his wife from Hotin moved after the war to Los Angeles .He died shortly after and my grandmother moved to Miami since she had a heart problem and could'nt live in Bogota, because of the altitude, were my parents settled in the late 50's. Isaac and Clara had two daughters, Bluma and Tania who at a certain point visited Isadore Prinzmetal, but the contact diminished slowly over the years and came to an end. Both of them have children. I am one of them.  We speak German at home since they lived in the Austrian Hungarian Empire for many years, in a town called Czernowitz. It was a very cultured city with a lively Jewish community. The stories are endless...I obviously found this e-mail via the internet. It would be nice to hear from you and get some photographs of my grandfather if you have any. He was born in 1900 .They were 7 children. All intellectuals, two of the women studied medicine (in those times) but died in concentration camps.

I know my Grandfather spoke 6 languages and was a founding member of the Theodor Herzl Movement. Iris's Grandfather spoke 6 languages and was a founding member and was a founding member of the Theodore Herzl Movement.  They belonged to the Zionist Youth movement.
